GAMCA or GCC Approved Medical Centres Association, now WAFID is a mandatory medical examination that you have to pass before traveling to GCC countries UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, and Oman for employment, for applying for a Residence visa, Work visa, or Family Visa. It has to be done from the Authorised Medical Centres assigned by Gulf Health Council. On registration, you will get a GCC Medical Test Registration Slip which is valid for 30 days at present. Always carry your original passport when you visit the clinic for medical. The medical fitness report of each individual is generated by the medical centers. The fit report is valid for 90 days in case unfit you will have a ban for 6 months. You can travel to your destination country after receiving a positive wafid medical report from authorized wafid Centres. Originally known as the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf is an intergovernmental, political and economic union consisting of all Arab states of the Persian Gulf, UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, and Oman.. except Iraq.
